How many minutes this season have we not had the lead?...has to be under 10 or 15. Maybe Murray St.

I think we have only trailed at the half twice this year and it was the back to back games vs. VPI and Stanford. I would have to think that your estimate is correct.

Maybe our most amazing stat is that we've held opponents to less that 30 points in 17 of 20 first halves.

I'd say it is more than 10 or 15, we probably trailed for 10-15 just in the Stanford game

I don't know, we do have our notoriously slow starts. Seems like we've been down in the first 10-15 minutes of a lot of games. Or maybe we start slow but we are still leading, but it feels like we're losing? I'm not sure.

LOL, thats so true we are only up 4or5 6minutes in and I'm thinking what is wrong with these guys today . . . . . .

Both ESPN and SU Athletics have play-by-plays with their box scores . I'm not going to check each game for this right now but anyone who wants to can do so on those sites.

we were trailing the majority of the game against va tech till about the 10 minute mark of the 2nd half.

alright, I only got to EMU before I decided that this was harder then what I was actually getting paid to do lol.. someone can take it from there, or if I get bored later ill finish it. I added up the amount of time we were behind, not tied, behind. (now that I think about it, I wish I would have added tied also) here we go.

Fordham
.54
Manhattan
2.47
Albany
3.38
Colgate
(no play by play)
Vtech
27.48
Stanford
30.19
EMU
4.02

Maybe after the eyes have had a break, ill pop back in later and finish

Then you have to figure it out for everyone else to see if we lead the country. :p

These teams slow starts were on Melo Scoop and Triche early season. And the fact CJ and Dion didn't start. Not blame wise but just not being ready wise. We didn't have the balence. KJO has some inconsistant troubles since BE started but everyone else has gotten better to make up for that.

Funny thought that we are actually 22nd in the country shooting 48 percent from the field and are shooting a respectable 35 percent from three and 70 percent from the line. I wouldn't have thought that.

Scoop and Melo were not ready offensively the first month and a extra week of the season. Triche was not ready to be a second scoring option although he is getting there with some isolation and aggressive reflexes developing now.
IMO Scoop and Melo finally picked it up offensively in mid Dec. When January rolled around both have hit even a better level of play. Triche is sort of becoming a solid second option SOME(key word) games but has to show it hes been silent the last few. Rak gave us no offense early on against good teams when in for CJ and that is why we started the first 6 minutes slow early on.

JB is looking for that second go to guy and if we can find just one to aid Dion by the first week or end of Feb we will be absolutely Scary!!!
IMO Its a glaring thing missing and theres a mad race between all our players to find that guy. Maybe its scoop with his assists.

We have two guards Triche and Scoop three forwards KJO, CJ, and Southerland plus Melo who are all looking to break out right now and join Dion as go to guys. I will throw Rak and MCW as slim possibilites in that group as well because when it clicks it could click at a crazy rate. Although Rak and MCW becoming solid 6th men on offense would be what they should be looking for. I really believe Rak and MCW have a good shot to by March. Thats alot of work JB is putting in. And alot of incentive for the players.

Waiting for that second go to guy a guy with the potential to score 3 out of five possessions with one missed shot two times per game or take over a game like Dion can is huge though. That will make us SCARY good if we find him. Thats one glaring thing missing about this team the need for Dion to be out there instead of just the want to. We find that we can be the best team EVER littlerally.
