Ky will be #1 Misouri may give us a run for the #2 spot.

I'm thinking #3 with Mizzou jumping us after beating Baylor. Although, last night, Dickie V said he would still vote SU #2. Surprised me a bit.

We spent 6 weeks at #1 and lost on the road without our starting Center (projected 1st rd pick). I think we should be #2. UK can be the overrated #1 who can barely beat Alabama at home.

While the poll convention should have SU at #2 with just 1 loss (still fewer than anyone else other than UK and Murray St, all those who were never sold on SU being #1 but felt compelled to vote for the undefeated team, will now drop us lower. My guess is that Missou will be #2 and we'll be #3. UK will hold #1 for the rest of the season. There's nobody in the weak SEC that will beat them. Outside of a game at FL, I doubt anyone comes close.

If Mizzou doesn't pass us, you got a scoop. They certainly deserve it after the win in Waco.

unfortunately (not that the polls matter), those clowns who refused to put us 1st to begin with will have us down around 5-7, and their votes will weigh us down and we will be borderline 3-4. Luckily the teams behind us lost (except Mizzou and Kentucky). Really though, Kentucky has been very unimpressive for weeks now in an unimpressive conference.

Baylor is good - overhyped though. Mizzou may have depth issues come March, but that is for another time and place -- I would be fine with UK / Mizzou / Cuse

That's a huge road win. Even if Baylor is only a top 10 team, that's a major win. And they have the overall better resume with wins at cal (by 40), ND (by 30) and Baylor and a neutral site win over a good Illinois team.

3 is certainly fair. #1 was fun while it lasted. Hope we get a shot at getting back though before the year is over.

Missouri looks like the best team in the country right now. I would put then number 1.

Think we fall to #3.

I personally welcome being out of that #1 spot. We had a good run there.

I wont be mad at 3 but I do think we should be 2 since our only loss is without our starting Center. I think the non-stop Sullinger excuses for Ohio St have gotten in my head.

I'm not sure the Sullinger situation is analogous to ours. In his case, he was eligbile but physically unable to compete. In ours, Fab has made himself ineligible to play. I don't know that I agree that there's a material difference between the two as far as rankings go, but one could see pollsters being less sympathetic to our situation.
