First, if this is an academic matter related to the first semester and all that is involved is a little additional work to complete the class...THEN WHY THE HELL NOT DO THAT WORK OVER THE HOLIDAY BREAK?! Seems absolutely foolish to wait until the second semester starts to resolve the issue. Again, is that decision on Fab or the professor?

Second, should we lose our first game tonight or Monday, will we get the same treatment that OSU got after their first loss (ie aberration...no Sully) or will that be overlooked because ESPN will be so happy that we lost?

For once I would love for us to go through a season WITHOUT academic or other off the court issues getting in the way. Just friggin once! Is that too much to ask?

Sounds like the academic support folks slipped up. Of course it's ultimately Fab's responsibility, but the support folks usually make sure the kid puts the time in and meets his commitments / requirements. How seldom do we hear of this kind of thing happening over the last 30 years ?

It's not.

Every team has off the court issues every year...we just notice ours more.

Odds Fab plays again this season. Percentage wise.

I really don't know. But knowing it is going through an appeals process and most appeals don't go well, I would guess less than 50/50. But I seriously don't know.

Ron Morris will drop us out of his Top 10.

Spot on. The fact that he has to appeal something isnt necessarily a good thing.

So its not an incomplete not cheating...what the hell else is their to appeal you either flunked out or you didnt whats the grey area here

I'm just curious what off court issues Kentucky, Baylor, Murray St and Duke have faced this year.
I know OSU had Sullinger injury and Strickland is gone from NC.
I agree that we follow ours more closely but it seems like EVERY SINGLE YEAR it's something.

I've asked myself this same question countless times over the years.

And no, I don't think that the talking heads in the media will cut us the same slack they cut OSU.

Do people read the posts being quoted in a reply?

Well, with all due respect, perhaps you could just share what you know instead of the cryptic, one-word tidbits you sprinkle here and there. Just seems, as it seemed with some of the Fine stuff, you are holding "inside" stuff over the posters here, giving out just enough to prove you're in the know.
I mean, I appreciate the job you do here as a mod and am grateful for some of the inside info you and a couple of others occasionally provide, but why post anything at all if you can't/aren't willing to reveal the full info?

I've shared everything I am going to share but you are reading one post then because I have put enough detail into several posts. I have no idea what is so cryptic when you rad all the posts and they say he is out at least 2 games, the appeal is next Tuesday, it is not for cheating, etc. What do you want me to say? You read a one word response to a question I replied to.

Understand bees.
Do you know what, specifically, he's appealing? Can you share that?
