Liberty is an oppressive place from the top down.

Penn St is a great school that had bad people at moments in time. Maybe we should never ever schedule Florida because they recruited a serial killer, Aaron Hernandez

I agree, there was a bad stretch of disgusting actions by key members of the football staff. That does not mean you can say penn st as a whole is a disgusting place and everyone should be ashamed of even playing a football game against them! Lol I’m so over that narrative. It’s like if people still associate SU Bball with the Bernie time scandal, how is that fair to the WHOLE university?

My reasons for never playing Penn State have nothing to do with Sandusky. That Jack*** Paterno did everything he could to destroy Eastern football, so let Penn State rot.
None of the Eastern teams should play them.

Get over it man. I mean it was a terrible decision and they ended up in a much better spot in the Big 10. As we've learned w all this movement, every school, and i mean Syracuse, does what's best for them first, second and third.

Penn St is a great school. They are a rival. We are playing them again. This is fun. Enjoy it.

I had no problems playing either. It is a football game.

I hope Liberty recovers after the creep and thief left. Personally I would rather play James Madison or ODU vs Liberty if we want to play a G5 VA team. While I could tailgate at Liberty it wasn't as fun as other places. Beautiful location though and the students were all fantastic.

Penn State series should be played for eastern football. I won't forget what happened but time marches on. I hope we kill them on the field twice! Franklin is a DB.

I think we're being a bit hyper reactive if you think a college should be stripped of their athletic dept. I think Sandusky is a horrible human being but it's a real slippery slope where you can prob strip Michigan St, Ohio St, ND, and other schools were awful things/awful people were.

Their football program should have been shut down.

And since nothing was done internally, that's on the AD.

Both are gross. Joe Pa did it right until he didn’t. Liberty guy is a hypocrite. Both deserve scorn
