Idea on creating fans

Maybe a dumb idea but possibly worth a swing. Could SU invite 500 HS football players and their coaching staffs to attend every home game. Start with the local schools and move through NY state and NJ. Each week provide them with tickets and if possible, host families for lodging.

Creating fans? I can't do that anymore and the doctor said it's expensive to reverse.

How about you bring in ~4,000 recent high school graduates a year, have them stay for at least, like 4 months, make them pay for housing and food, and get them to come to football games? Offer them classes or something to kill time between events.

That’s step one to producing fans…the coming. I mean, they have to be there to become fans, so they have to come first.

kcsu - did you not see the post that said there were 100 invitees for the Miami game - so it's already started - and not just for the Miami game. It's on the Football Recruiting page - I believe CuseLegacy posted the info/ Not 500 but they have begun.
