I don't think the school should suffer for this idiot's moronic attempt to recruit Noel for Syracuse. Jimmy should be on the phone with this kid as we speak.Send Fab packing back to Brazil. Put Moose on a heavy Sand C regimen and bring in a big man coach who can help this kid prepare for next season regardless of whether Noel comes in. I'm sure that the university was influenced in their decision because of the current drug news that was made public. They couldn't take a chance with Fabrico.:bat:

What if I donate $5 to Kentucky then tweet at every single 5-star recruit? Would that be a violation for UK? The schools have no control over this stuff.

It may be silly but it is a rule and SU reminds their boosters all the time that social media cannot be used to contact recruits unless you are an official of the school and allowed to do so.

That would be a violation as well. One of the big problems with the current rules is that if you donated to a school your technically a booster. If your a booster and you tweet recruits before they have signed with the school that is a NCAA violation. So its not hard to become a booster and potentially screw a school.

1. In the eyes of the NCAA, all alums and even common fans of the team are considered boosters, regardless of whether we give money to the school or not

how bout the ncaa go sniffing around kentucky once and awhile and look dig deep into the background of John Wall, or Demarcus cousins while they were on campus, and maybe delve into the recruitment of anthony davis.
