I would take UConn with me to the ACC 1,000,001 times before even throwing dog poo on Pitt.
Call me crazy, but part of what I love about college hoops is all these different styles of play. There are rooms for all styles. Who's to say whats right and wrong? If we had a bunch of bruisers and unskilled players, we'd love them tossing opponents around and being bullies in the paint.

They would have 50 fouls by the under 8 timeout in the first half if the game was called like a basketball game. It sucks but the refs realize it would be an embarrassing situation for the league and ESPN if they called it straight up.
Bilas had it right nearly every time.
One play really stood out to me. It was when Fab was getting mugged under the hoop by two Pitt players and they called a jump ball. Replay showed that the Pitt players had their hands all over him, clawing and grabbing while Fab tried to escape.
I believe it was after that play when there was dead silence and then Raf says to Bilas, "I'll let you take that one." Yeaaaah.
Not sure if it was the same one where they were clearly grabbing his jersey and dragging him to the ground but yeah I remember that too. There was even a play where a Pitt player made a short jumper and CJ got a 2 handed shove in the back out of bounds. He literally went flying right through the screen shot.
Both involved Robinson. He had Fab bearhugged from behind on the held-ball call (terrible) and then didn't even try to play the ball on Fair. If an inadvertent elbow to the face is a flagrant foul, how is a deliberate shove not flagrant?

One of the more egregious plays I recall was in the 2nd half, when CJ drove to the basket with a shot under the basked and was slammed into by a Pitt defender. CJ missed the shot badly as a result but there was no call. Bilas said there was a foul as the play happened, and when they showed the replay his comment was something along the lines of "I don't know... it sure looked like he got a lot of body there."
You might be right about the SU player involved, but I thought it was a horrible no-call. It was hardly incidental contact - the Pitt player really laid a body on him and got away with it.I think it was Kris, on a drive. He got hit by Robinson--lots of body contact, but no call. Pitt got the rebound after the miss.
I have no idea, I have become so p-o'ed at the officiating I seethe during the games. Its like the games outcome is not even in doubt sans the referees. Fouls wound up being 19-15 last night in our favor, but that includes the fouling late by Pitt...for most of the game we had more fouls than they did!
And seriously...calling TO with 8 seconds left? I despise Jamie Dixon.
No, you had it right, it was CJ on the baseline in the second half. CJ took the ball from the 3 point line down the baseline as the shot clock was running down to 0. Nasir Robinson came from the foul line and body checked him as he shot. Bilas clear as day mutters foul as nonchalant as he possibly can. I actually laughed at how he said it.You might be right about the SU player involved, but I thought it was a horrible no-call.
