During the day yesterday on ESPN.com I noticed that #1 AZ was playing Washington... didn't catch if it was televised or not.
Then last night while channel surfing I saw on my DirecTV guide that the game was on at 8. It was 9PM or thereabouts so I changed channels quickly and I see AZ is down a ton.
"No way", I say. I look closer...smallish crowd... and then, wait, there's no little number "1" next to AZ. What? I look again, AZ State? No way I got that wrong when I surfed on ESPN.com. (Some of you are already onto me by now I'm sure)
Grab my smart phone, look again...HS... AZ State plays Washington, and Washington State plays AZ on the same night. And no wonder - they are all in the same conference.
Sigh.
