JB will tie Dean Smith for all time wins at SU's home away from home, Madison Square Garden . . .

. . . and then pass him by defeating our most hated rival at the Dome.

On a night when JB can pass a legend by defeating Georgetown, I would hope that there are 30k + in attendance.

(and, to sweeten the pot, I bet that is the night that Fab returns)

Seems like the wins have really piled up quickly since JB hit 800. He's going to hit 900 next season some time.

Its easy to forget on a game to game basis but:
2nd most among active coaches
most ever at one D1 school
will fininsh 2nd most all time.

If we do win TWFT, I bet JB considers going out on top. Although I think Juli might want him to get that Hawai'i trip in first, I would be totally fine with it.

My guess is he told DC he would be his coach. Plus he wont let JC catch him.

Now this is a post I can get behind, or ummmmm...put my mouth to.

I like where your head is at. Unfortunately, we just do not get crowds above 25-26K on weekday nights. At least not in many years. Then again, you don't get a milestone like this often and you don't play GTown on a weekday night often. Maybe that will be enough to get a huge crowd. Hope it happens. I am not optimistic.

Yep (and after middling attendance for most of our Big East games so far, even this potentially special season isn't likely to change that).

Georgetown's 26,904 for the midweek game last year is the high water mark of the last 18 years. We drew 26,980 for a Connecticut Big Monday game in 1993 and 28,861 for Georgetown on Big Monday earlier that year. You have to go back to 1990 (30,023 for Pittsburgh) to find 30,000+ on a weeknight. It's only happened nine times.

Still, if Fab's back, the weather's nice, the students are in the spirit, and the townies get the urge, we could get a loud 27 or maybe 28. From the looks of things, they've sold about 24,000 through today, so tickets would really have to move and we'd need 300% of the student turnout we had on Saturday.
