If we beat Pitt and Miami
We would have 4 wins over top 25 teams

Would anyone else have 4 ranked wins?

since so many teams jump in and out hard to know

But of the big teams

Tex could have 2
A&M could have 2-3
LSU 2
GA 1-2
Ark 2
Mich could get 3-4
Ore 2
PSU 1
OSU 1-2
Clem 0
Miami 0
BYU 0
Iowa St 1
TT 1
KSU 2

ND 4 but any slip up to Navy/Army/GT/USC and they would be done

Would be interesting if GT were to beat ND and VT beats BC and GT if 5-3 got them back in and some other games fell the right way.

Im thinking I understood your post.
In conclusion, Syracuse could win out, have a better "resume" than most teams and miss the playoff to several 3 loss teams when we only lost 1 and we have the "best" wins and "toughest" schedule of them all?
WhatDeFuq? I thought our schedule was "easy"

Im reminded of if a tree fell in the forest and noone was around to hear it, did it make a noise?

Yea it did duh, even a deaf ant "heard" the pressure wave.

I love the passion.

Gonna need to do the ACC tiebreaker first if we are talking if's.

My mind says Ala good team #7 in the polls

But they were blah vs USF
Dumped Wisc who suddenly woke up
Had GA beat then lost it, then came back so good win
But were pretty much controlled by Vandy
and very lucky to escape and avg SCar team

But they will beat Tenn and Win out and be 11-1

Tenn are they good?

NC st win doesn't look like much
Ok turns out isnt very good
Flo had them
Ark beat them

they will lose to GA and Ala most likely so it wont matter

honestly the only SEC that has looked good is Texas

A&M struggled with Bowling green and Ark

Ark lost to Ok St team that is clueless but beat Tenn and had issues with UAB

GA dominates Clem but struggles with Kentucky and Miss St and lost to Ala

So the entire SEC might be 1 good team and a bunch of OK teams that just swap wins and struggle 2-3 other games but 4-5 will get credit for that in the PWR and get into the playoffs

Gtech beating Ga that last game could be huge for the ACC.
Aburn beating Ala would help
Lou beating Kentucky

It's probably more significant to the resume that the teams you beat are in the top 25 at the end of the season than at the time you play them.

True. It is interesting though that on virtually every graphic I've seen it shows the opponent as ranked at the time we played them. Not sure what that means in the long run but it's nice it's acknowledged.
