Guy unties the opponents shoe laces at the foul line one night...is told by his coach to cut it out..

the very next game does it again.

this person is not well.

Im not using the term mentally ill as an insult. Im seriously wondering if he is affected.

Based on his instagram account I think its a resounding yes to that question. Something is definitely wrong with him.

JR Smith is a complete dope.

HES A FOOL JERRY

JR is obviously a lot smarter than is Dolan (but I gotta confess after last season I was all for bringing him back, too).

As much as I can't stand how bad he is this year. This ish is funny. Its just so ridiculous that it's actually funny.

George Karl said he couldn't believe it, and that he wasn't sure if he should give J.R. Smith a detention.

he's a habitual line stepper

Did anyone watch the game last night? It was a freakin mess, I was flipping back to it during Cuse commercial breaks.

The best part of the JR thing was that a fan yelled "JR, untie his shoe" and then...he tried to lol. Monroe heard the fan, then felt JR and blocked him lol.

Then Melo gave someone in the stands the craziest ice-stare i've ever seen, like this glare went on for about 10 seconds going into a timeout.

Then there was this... http://bleacherreport.com/tb/dc8S6?...edium=newsletter&utm_campaign=new-york-knicks

He's not only crazy, he's legitimately dangerous. Let's just say, don't get in a car with this dude.

So far the most likely deal has JR, the Knicks 2018 1st round draft pick, and $10 million in cash going to Cleveland for an old framed photo of LeBron and a bag of used wrist bands.

Even you play against him you need to make a double knot in your laces. Problem solved. He may even fall over while pulling on the lace.

I think he's Corporal Klinger-ing himself out of New York. He wants out that bad that he's willing to take a Section 8, or as Stern calls it, The Dennis Rodman Clause.

This would only be addition by subtraction for the Knicks. There's no way you could get equal talent in return for JR at this point.

Over/under how many years after he's out of the league before he's broke.

I'll go with -2, as in he'll be broke while still earning money his last two years.

Battle of wits: Travis Henry vs. JR Smith

Discuss.

I think you're onto something. He's always been volatile but after his brother Chris was cut supposedly after the Knicks made a sweet deal to get JR to resign with the Knicks if they kept his brother, JR's suddenly developed a public foot fetish.

I havent followed the NBA in awhile, but from the sounds of this thread(and namely the text of the OP) the dude reminds me of one of my heroes, Andy Kaufman. For anyone who hasn't seen it, I highly recommend the movie about him starring Jim Carrey, Man on the Moon. It really helped me to question what is real(and important) and laugh while doing so. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0125664/
