It Hurts Because It Matters

Fran’s exceeded our expectations up until last night.

He’s outperformed recruiting.
He’s reached out and touched the community.
He’s begun the healing process with alum.
He’s brought in donors.
He’s brought an exciting quarterback and offense.
He’s brought in coaching experience whereas past Coaches couldn’t give up being the big man in the room.
He’s building a respectable and meaningful culture for the athletes who play here.
He wears his heart on his sleeve and speaks in a relatable and honest manner instead of what we’re used to.

He lost a game we should have won and most of it was on him and his staff.

Big damn whoop. This was his third game as a head coach. What did you expect to happen?

It only hurts this bad because he’s done such a good job bringing back pride, excitement and a SENSE OF MEANING to the program and community.

Im still all aboard the Fran Train.

Seeing what the guys become over the next few months will be a lot of fun for fans who take the journey with them.
