JazzFest

I just heard that JazzFest is cancelled this year. I don’t go very often these days, but it was always a summer highlight. Whether it was seeing Dizzy Gillespie, George Benson or my pals New York Voices, it was always a great event no matter where it was held. Too bad M&T Bank pulled their sponsorship this year leading to the lack of funds to pull it off. I hope Frank Malfitano finds a way to put it on next year. I’ll make sure not to take it for granted again.
