I'm not a big Broadway fan, but my parents' were wise enough to get me to enjoy local theaters from a young age.
This year, I was gifted a stream of Jefferson Mays' rendition of a Christmas Carol. If you buy it, it supports your local theater and is one of the most fascinating movies (???) I've ever seen. I'm assuming it'll be on major streaming services next Christmas, so check it out if you can.

Review: A Ham’s ‘Christmas Carol,’ Without the Honey Glaze (Published 2020)
The astonishing Jefferson Mays stars as everyone (and a potato) in a dark and pointed adaptation of the Dickens holiday classic.
