Interesting Three Rivers Inn - SU connection. The father of SU's Tim Lane (also Tim Lane), worked for CBS back in the hay day of the Three Rivers Inn, which as everyone knows, was located in Phoenix, NY. Sammy Davis Jr., was doing a week long show there, or something like that. My dad had a new Pontiac, so Tim the elder swapped cars with my dad, because he was tasked with chauffeuring Sammy around while he was here. As a thank you, my parents were Sammy's guests to dinner for his final show. He gave them a gift of me ( I was an infant), which I have been told I promptly broke.
