i sorta liked the old one, the extended version to be precise.

i dont think this will be anything like that.

my understanding is most of the movie was rewrote and re-shot.

If nothing else, it's a really interesting experiment.

experiment is correct.

i think its like 9 hours long.

the difference is they take their time setting things up, you get more into the strategy behind it. theres a little more of Superman after hes risen.

honestly its the only version ive now watched in a few years. id have to watch the original to go, 'wait...they just skipped (blank scene).

unlike Star Wars where ive seen it 1000x so i still no the added the scenes when i watch now (does the original version even exist), with this i sorta dont know any different now. my oldest boy was too young when it came it out, we have watched it alot this spring/summer.

i had watched it a few times a year prior to that.

i enjoyed many MCU, but im an old school DC guy who likes the darker stories better.
