Don't shoot the messenger but did anyone hear anything about a disagreement in the locker room between KJO and Waiters last week over ball distribution? This was a 3rd or 4th hand rumor I heard so I wondered if anyone else heard anything. I certainly hope that it isn't true. Freaking 20-0 and they start fighting about the rock? I can not believe that would be true but thought I'd check.

From now on when Kris gets the clear out 1 0n 1 at the top of the key Dion must play deep safty at half court. :(

If Kobe is the Black Mamba, Dion is the Orange Mamba, KJo can be the Garden Snake because of his weak takes to the hoop.

...this is really pathetic if true...our two go two guys both forgot to be go to in ND game...I do not believe KJ has been the same since his injury...too soft around the basket...and cannot dribble at all...he gets two bounces and then shot or pass...otherwise JB should pull him out of play...Dion should be go to guy...going to be interesting to see who really steps up...maybe Scoop and Triche are really the two some to make it happen (did I say that?)

KJo has turned into a poor mans Wes Johnson errrr a homeless man's Wes Johnson. Cant shoot, rebound, play defense as well. I always thought KJo had a little more upside because he could dribble drive but now I literally want to rip my eyes out everytime he tries to do that.

He has the ability to turn it around but I dont think the mentality is there.

I used to compare him to Ryan Blackwell and I was laughed at. "Joseph is much better, yadda yadda"

I need to correct my comparison. He is not as good as Ryan Blackwell. Blackwell was more beastly on the boards.

it wasnt in the lockerroom... it was on the court at the end of the pitt game for all to see.

I also got ripped on this board for being a poor evaluator of talent when I said going into his sophomore year that Kris would never be a star on the college level and this his skills & playmaking ability were overrated. I like Kris; he seems to be a great kid but he's not a star at all. I also respect the fact that he has improved his jump shot to some extent.

Kris is a nice player who only finishes well when he's not contested. He can't dribble and he rarely makes others around him better. When was the last time any of you said "wow" after a pass Kris made? Perhaps the most annoying thing is that he hasn't learned how to execute a simple jump stop.

He's a better open-court finisher than Blackwell (who, along with Hart and Burgan, combined for an outlandish number of missed lay-ups on the break) but equally bad in traffic.

Blackwell, of course, was renowned for his stellar play against Notre Dame. Still, that's not the worst comparison I ever heard.

Kris is a much better leaper than Blackwell; Ryan had no ups at all.

Is that your opinion or fact? I'm hoping fact.
My opinion based on my sources. The only way to know it as fact would be to talk to the players themselves. I don't have that kind of access, but I do have sources who I trust.

Thanks for the input BleedsOrange44.

I'm pretty sure Boeheim had them strap phone books to themselves and then sword fight.

As another poster said, they were talking a lot at the end of the last game before ND. In the ND game, there was almost no creative passing, nobody cutting thru the lane, or flashing to the foul line area (james) when ND played zone against us. Way too much one-on-one drives to the hoop. They stopped moving the ball on offense. That and the lack of run outs were the reason we were so terrible.

How about we simply say:"we played a hot team that was looking to knock off No.1, without a major defensive cog & they took it to us"?
This was brought up after the Pitt game, when some posters said they "could tell" that KJo was "mad" at DW because he didn't pass him the ball on a breakaway. And now after our first loss, it gets amplified to a lockerroom squabble?
Another loss & we'll start hearing that the "real" issue is Dion schuppting KJo's girlfriend...Awesome!!!!
