Surprised that there isn't more buzz about us possibly landing a kid of this caliber. If he was coming out of HS, I think the board would be following him more. A high three star prospect with offers from some major blue bloods, and just about every P5 school.

I know generally speaking we “need DBs” but I personally always put emphasis on CBs. A couple true Safeties for sure, but stack up on CBs and let the ones that can’t cover have a chance at S.

I feel like Babers/Ward recruits Safeties more heavily. Is there some truth to that? Is that because of the zone defense we play? Certainly a focus of the secondary is length. Are the DBs we target meant to be versatile?

All that being said, do we see DJ competing with Frederick(CB) or Cordy (S)?
