They always have a lot of attendance at the Junior Days, but like most schools for these things it's usually the kids that are within a certain distance during the school year. More telling is who attends the camps in the summer.

2022 DE Jimmy Scott, St Francis, Athol Springs, NY

2021 DE Jordan Laudato, Henderson HS, West Chester, PA

Jordan camped in 2019 and visited for Holy Cross. No offer yet.

2021 WR Nicholas Cenacle, Vanier College, Quebec, Canada

Some of these kids visiting this weekend may be visiting for Junior Day Saturday. Some for the first day of Spring Practice Sunday. Some for both days.

2021 OT Michael Entwistle, Paramus Catholic HS, Paramus, NJ

2021 DT Isaiah Rogers, Academy Park HS, Sharon Hill, PA

2021 DE Khordae Sydnor, Iona Prep, New Rochelle, NY

Reed is 6’5 210 pounds. Really good athlete, dual threat QB who ran and threw for over 1000 yards last season. If it doesn’t work out for him at QB, he definitely has the skill set to be a good P5 TE.

sutomcat, do you have any concerns with his competition level? Playing in class d, he doesn’t see the level of competition that you would expect from a P5 athlete and you would expect his numbers to be better than they were.

Of course that is a concern but great athletes often come from small schools. If the measurables are there and the coaches have time to develop a player these are the hidden Gems we can land.
Joe G played against very weak HS comp but has done extremely well against the best competition in college basketball. For the right kid the potential reward is great for SU taking a shot

I agree with KC. The camps are important for all players but even note so for players from small schools where the competition isn’t great. Hope he goes to the SU camp and wows the staff. That is his best chance to get an offer.
