Wow, Notre Dame fans have a severe dislike for SU and Boeheim. Given that they believe their school and academics are at the level of Harvard it's not surprising they would take some pot shots at SU's current situation (frankly we would as well). I'm more surprised at the utter vitriol directed at Boeheim. I mean, you can not like the way he looks, how he coaches, etc... but the dude is in the Hal of Fame. You'd think at least a couple of the ND folks would give him some due. Not one. They even have a term for Coach B: The Boeheim Exception.

I understand that it means you root for your league teams in OOC games, except for SU. I'm unsure why they hate SU so much, did something happen between the two teams, or with Coach B. that makes them hate him so much? It's surprising, and just the kind of thing I needed to get really amped for this game. Hope SU thrashes those nitwits.

ND basketball should hate us we are their worst matchup in the big east year after year after year .
Then our awfull football team years we beat them.

JB basically called them out for the destruction of the BEast, so yeah...I can see why they'd hate him personally.
They feel its blasphemy for someone to point what hypocrites they are for not wanting to go all-in the BE.
And the so-called "Boeheim exception" isn't new- I personally had a "Thompson exception" everytime GTown plays.

We're 9-3 over our last 12 games played at the Joyce Center.
Their basketball arena is named after our Biggest Booster and Board founder.
Their coach looks like a cheap Soprano's wiseguy
Their program hasn't been truly relevant since the 70's

It's funny they're knocking SU about Fab. If anything this shows Syracuse won't allow its academic integrity to be compromised over basketball.
