Penn state might be pretty good this year. Only 1 goal for Teat.

Yup. Or Cornell is not very good this year. Remains to be seen. They don't play anyone of note for a month or so (Harvard on 3/11, then April brings O$U, MD, and Hop, all in a row - MD and Hop on the road). They could build up a gaudy record without really playing anybody. Lots of Furmans, Fairfields, and Cleveland States on their sked.

And how far has Princeton fallen that they beat someone 22-9 and I don't even include them in my list because they aren't relevant anymore? :noidea:

NJIT just added lacrosse right?

It is amazing how far they have fallen since Tierney left for Denver

That seems like an awful lot of goals to give up against Siena.
Part of it (and please remember I said, "Part of it") is learning Tiffany's defensive system. He wants the close D to press out on people instead of crowding around The Hole. We didn't do that under Starsia. It's considered high risk and high reward. There were a number of 8-10 yard shots by Siena's Canadians that no one would have stopped and there were a couple of soft goals that our goalies should have stopped TBH.

One thing noted on our board that shows "There's a New Sheriff in Town", one of our SSDMs ran off the field through the box while we were in a fast break and Tiffany took him aside and "gently reminded" him that he was supposed to stay in and go to the goal instead. One thing he did at Brown that's continuing at UVa is that any long pole that ends up on the offensive end is likely to stay there and set picks for nearly the entire duration of the offensive set in order to make his offensive middie play D.
