It appears there’s more than enough to qualify for a bowl bid. If SU beats Pitt does that even qualify for a bid the way the last few weeks performance has played out ?

The ACC has 12 bowl tie-ins.

There are currently only 9 ACC bowl eligible teams.

SU, FSU and VA Tech need one more win.

Ga Tech and Duke are done.

If we beat ranked Pitt for our sixth game we are absolutely getting a bowl game, no question about that.

If Dino gets the Orange to beat PITT, he should get a contract extension.

there are 82 bowl slots not counting the championship game( so 41 games)

72 Teams have 6 wins. I believe 40 of those are P5 teams, not including BYU or Notre Dame.

19 Teams can get to 6 wins this week, but I believe there are 4 games where both teams are at 5 wins like Maryland/Rutgers, Florida/Florida St. So only 15 more teams will actually get there.

Edit: The other 2 games are Charlotte/ODU and MTSU/FAU.

Some 6 win G5 teams may not go bowling as is the case every year unless there are openings. All depends on the tie ins.

Not 12 but 10. First Responder, Birmingham and Gasparilla only count as one because they three can only invite one ACC team.
