Been noticing him on Twitter lately, political wise. Disappointed that Luke Skywalker is a tool in real life.

TLJ was a waste of a trilogy episode.

They turned Luke into an EMO baby.
The Leia space scene was dumb.
The story of the First Order just chasing the Resistance was so dumb and didn’t move the story at all.
I like Finn but they wasted him with Rose.
The casino planet stuff was just beyond political and pointless.
The Snoke getting killed without his story even being touched was stupid.
The movie overall sucked.
I respect Star Wars and saw Solo but the movie hurt Solo at the box office.

what is an EMO baby? luke acted just like he did in every other movie he was in.

why was the Leia sequence dumb? was it too realistic?

explain how the casino sequence was any different than the cantina sequence or the bar scene from episode 7?

if you are not a star wars geek why does snoke matter?

Luke did not act like he did in the original trilogy.
He was bitter and put off by what happened with Kylo.
Rey wanted training and he was a terrible mentor,
Then he whined about the Jedi Temple and Yoda was like whatever and burned it down.

The Cantina scene wasn’t a political message that the 1% are terrible and child slave labor is a problem. Terrible analogy. Casino scenes were preachy and a message Johnson wanted to tell.

Star Wars geeks matter. Mark Hamill is saying he wasn’t a fan of the movie.
Luke is gone 30 years and that is what they came up with?.

how was Luke gone 30 yrs?

while i am sure there are political messages in these movies, i dont even notice them since they are movies and fun. its just like 9th grade english where you have to read a book and look for all the hidden meanings many of which the author didnt even intend.

Hamill is a bitter actor anyway and wasnt a fan of the original ones either

he didnt want to be a mentor, made it clear from the first second he saw her, and it became clear why when the back story was explained.

Yoda explained the temple was not a place but an idea.

Geeks matter and they clamored for years for more stories, then they get some and 1 isnt as perfect as they want and they probably ruin a chance for more Solo stories by not showing up, when that was actually pretty good.

3 out of 4 of these movies has been really solid and the worst one is only seen as poor by some because its being compared to a pretty lofty standard.

Still want a Yoda stand alone movie.

This is the story of episode 8 boiled down.
First order chasing Resistance.
Luke not wanting to train Rey.
Kyle becoming new leader of First Order.
The story didn’t tell enough. It was a waste a trilogy.
More should have been told.
Abrams has his work cut out. Johnson isn’t being asked again to write a Star Wars movie in this trilogy they know they screwed up.
The movie that may not get told now is the Boba Fett stand alone movie which sucks as that would have been a cool story.

Agreed. Luke is the exact same guy he was in 5 and 6. Dark, moody and brooding. Episode 4 Luke died in Empire.

Hamill has always been a terrible actor. He resents the film that made him huge. I suspect it’s an intense jealousy of Harrison Ford driving it.

Love that Yoda has to come back and say these dudes still don’t get it...f it.

Peeps take all the fun out of the movies. Star Wars is one of the campiest melodramatic pieces of cinema in the last 40 years and people treat it like its Shakespearean tragedy.

In 1983 when the Emperor got tossed, no one knew the back story. Where was the outrage?

There were episodes 1-3 that could be made.
So obviously he was going to be part of that backstory.

The movie is just so odd and doesn’t follow any of what TFA set up at all. Which is fine if it wasn’t the 8th of 9 movies.
I enjoyed it. That doesn’t mean I loved it. It was clunky, disjointed and just secondary feeling.
I don’t know, I’m hopeful JJ will right the “wrongs”

They can do whatever they want.
TLJ though hurt a good Solo movie.
I literally was someone who didn’t see solo because I was just kinda “ehh” after TLJ. I didn’t put a lot of thought into it, just the wind was gone from the sails so to speak. TFA at least gave this “feeling” where we were back. Us fans I don’t think understood how important last Jedi would be to maintaining interest. But it was the most important for story and continued stories. Disney definitely screwed the pooch. They know it too. That’s why JJ is back.

Dude! A spoiler alert would have been great here. Haven't seen the damned movie yet, and now you've ruined it... Sort of.

Sorry but I what I said won’t ruin it that much I didn’t go into specifics and the ending is completely not mentioned.

Not that this represents Alsacs or anything but butthurt TLJ anti-fanboys on twitter are hilarious.
The one who offered 250 million for Disney to remake TLJ was so funny.
I didn’t like the movie but honestly besides saying I wasn’t a fan I wouldn’t do anything.
I love Top Gun but I already know Top Gun 2 is going to suck but it’s still getting my money.
