Melo 1.0 returns with 25 pts to stop a tough three games for the knicks...

He was great against the Pistons. Hopefully this means hes healthy, dude has been beaten up for about 3 weeks.

Amazing how Greg Monroe has blossomed. I didn't think he'd be a great pro. He is gonna be a 20/10 guy for a long time. I hate the Hoyas, but they sure have churned out some good big guys. Hibbert doing well also...

Melo 1.0 looked fresh and good last night. Nice to go up against a team that plays with no effort.

If he's healthy and focused he can be the great player he was last night.

He's too stubborn and prideful to ask out when hurt, and the Knicks organization was too clueless and dysfunctional to hold him out when he was clearly doing no good for the team or himself.

The Knicks really have a big hole to climb out of now.

If he just needed a weekend off, I don't think his injuries were very serious. This condensed season is taking its toll on everyone.

They are only about a game back from 8 spot in playoffs.
You're right, but you could say the same thing about the Nets and Cavs right now.

I think the expectation was that the Knicks could contend for a high seed in the East. They still might, but they are a long way off and have a lot of issues to address.

He was shooting about 30% for a long stretch and looking pretty awful doing it. That is indicative of something more than a normal slump or fatigue.

He turned into a volume shooter and stopped trusting his teammates. He admitted he needed to shoot less. I think the time off was for him to get his head right and stop thinking for a minute.

how that man gets 1 rebound in a game is beyond me.
