This is more a commentary on those fans who have ignored or skipped over the many responses on this.

The answer is “No one can possibly know”.

Hopkins isn’t going to say. Wildhack isn’t going to show any cards he doesn’t have to. So we will be treated to hours and hours of speculation that everyone knows doesn’t have a chance of being based on real information.

I'll admit it - I was one of those guys saying Hop wasn't ready for the Ferrari. (After the 3-6 interim HC debacle.) I was wrong. It'd be a grand slam to convince him to come back. Hope it happens.
