BMK.

Really thought our defense picked up in the second half when he came in for Rak. He just knows where to be on defense at times and hustles his butt off. He moves his feet unlike Rak and DC2 at times. Hopefully those two are taking some notes on the sidelines when he's out there. BMK also had a lot of nice rebounds and that put back on the missed jumper by Cooney (I think) was sweet.

He was great tonight. Thought Cooney did a great job too.

In fairness to Rak, I didn't think Rak got much of a run got 2 fouls in like 4 minutes got pulled came back in for like 2 minutes in the first half got pulled and got pulled after 3 minutes in the second half never to return.

This was a game built for Baye though :)

was that vanzagnut or barksdale who fed that dunk back to fair?

BMK's energy continues to be such an asset to this team, despite his limited skill set. He's the type of player every coach loves having on his team. If BMK only had better hands and a little more strength...

I love BMK's energy, enthusiasm, and hustle. He is such a positive force for our team; he's constantly talking and encouraging the other players. BMK seems like a terrific guy, even if he didn't play hoops for us; the kind of guy you like to be around. That said, if only he didn't handle entry passes like Don Knotts trying to grab a vial of nitroglycerine...

If I could have a drink with one player on the team it would be BMK, even though he may not drink due to his faith if I remember the video correctly. He seems like his positive energy would heal whatever is wrong with me just from being around him. I know he has a bigger mission in life but the selfish part of me wishes he would stick around and be involved with the program in some manner.

Edit:If I had a kid at all interested in sports or in life, I would show them footage of BMK. That's the kind of respect I have for him even after a down game.

I don't approve of this thread. You're not supposed to say anything good about BMK around here.
Oh Lord

Glad to see I wasn't being delusional lately when thinking that!

I know I have said it before, but I seriously love Baye. He is one of the nicest and most genuine people I've ever met. If I weren't such a technophobe, I'd post some funny and endearing pictures of him from Maui.

I feel genuinely sad when he he gets criticized here for what we all (including Baye himself) acknowledge as his shortcomings. But I feel so much happiness when he has a game like he had tonight ... and when he gets recognized for it -- not just on this board, but also by the announcers calling the game
