Since a majority of the band was still on break, I, along with a bunch of other out of practice alumni, got to stand with sitrus behind the basket. Unfortunately, they have new arraignments of many songs, including down the field and superstar, so sheet music was necessary, and, there were 4 sousaphones for Tomcat!
It was really interesting seeing how much physical contact,as well as uniform grabbing, there was under the basket. The really cool thing is being able to see JB talking to whoever he pulls out of the game and see his different levels of emotion.
Unlike some of the yougins that were next to me, I never thought we were going to lose. A majority of the bunnies looked like they were going to go in, they just didn't. Most of Cooney's shots looked a little off as soon as he let them go. I liked the hustle for loose balls under the bucket and the sound of the ball hitting someone in the face.
A pretty uninspiring game, except for the 7 mins, but a conference win is a win.
And, just to make this official, I ran into no one important while I was at the dome, wasn't asked to sit and at the end of the game got to say...and georgetown still sucks!

Awesome.

Good observations. And thanks for participating - you guys sounded great! Wish SU would let the band play a lot more, but it was great to have alumni show up and give us more live music than we could expect during a game during break

I was sitting in section 102 just to the right of the band and could tell by the mish-mash of orange shirts instead of the standard uniform orange shirts with blue stripes, the band must have been composed of a number of subs sitting (standing actually) in for the students on break. Was wondering who the fill ins were - have to say, you guys sounded great!

LOL - how about the one play where they passed the ball to Rak and it went through his hands and bounced off his face out of bounds.
It was quiet enough at the time that you could really hear that one.
