The trade with him going back to the Celtics don't become official until July 10.

Patrick Beverley is giving MCW a hard time defensively. Has one nice assist so far but needs to settle down.

Beverley has 4 fouls now guarding MCW. MCW just had a nice tough finish on a drive. Southerland is now getting some run.

End of the 1st qtr, MCW has 6pts and a couple of dimes. Southerland 0-2 so far.

MCW just finished with a lovely and 1. Now has 11pts and is the only 76er so far providing anything on offense. Khalif Wyatt and his old man game has been off so far.

MCW is scoring but on the negative side he has 6 turnovers already and the pressure from the small guards are getting to him.

its actually good he has had to get a taste of that in his first game. Will be interesting to see how long it takes him to adjust.

In summer league, you can't foul out--correct? So it is basically unlimited fouls, IIRC.

Correct. If this was a regular NBA game, Beverley would have been on the bench within the first couple of minutes. Big East refs on the other hand probably would have called 1 foul tops on him for the whole game.

Looked much more decisive on his first two drives in 2nd half. Las bucket he just ripped the ball out of Greg Smith's hands and took it for a layup.
