I didn't know where else to post this. My daughter is moving out (finally!) and is trying to determine what type of internet service to get. She will not be getting "cable", because everything she watches she streams.

What level of service would she need? Is 5 mbps (the bare minimum) enough for HD streaming? Or should she go for 10 mbps or 150 mbps? She does no gaming.

I'll probably post on the OT forum, too.
TIA!!!

It takes 3-5 to stream a single HD stream. now some sites are better than others at the buffering issues.. Netflix is good at it, ESPN is awful.

I would start at the lower 10mb price pt if that is an option because 5m would probably work 90% of the time but maybe not all and if you try to stream 4k it can be 25MB
