Owen Seebold, A, Highland Park (Tex.) 2017 – The Fighting Scot standout is one of the better uncommitted 2017’s that I’ve seen and after a great weekend, he should be feeling confident about finding a collegiate home soon. Seebold is awesome with either hand, surveying the field with great vision and either turning the corner for a finish or setting up a teammate. A pure hustler, he’s excellent in the riding game as well, balling out in the ASG with at least three points in a five-minute span.

That said another great pickup for Desko and the staff. The last 2-3 months we have been on a role getting commits from all across the spectrum 15, 16, and 17. Welcome Aboard Owen.

Highland Park is a real tony area of Dallas. TX Lacrosse is still having a hard time breaking through into the middle and lower class school districts. It is growing at a good rate in the upper middle class and rich areas of the Big Metros though.

First-team All District, Leading scorer (59 points), and team MVP for HP Varsity (DII), Texas Lacrosse Magazine No. 1 ranked 2017 (Freshman) attackman and No. 3 overall, NSCLA Select Showcase invitee, Blue Chip invitee, Showtime invitee, Philly Showcase invitee, Baltimore Summer Kickoff (all-star), UNC team camp (all-star). He also plays slot receiver in football. He also considered Notre Dame, Lehigh, Towson, Georgetown and Furman.

Another kid I’ve written up extensively and ranked as the 46th 2017 in September, the Syracuse verbal looks more explosive then when I saw him this summer, coming off what was reportedly an excellent weekend at Project 9. He’s expanded his dodging repertoire as well, making some dazzling plays on the attack end. Loved his confidence when throwing spot feeds from behind the cage to cutting teammates.
