But looking at our last 4 games. The only team that is looking like a top team right now is FSU.
Clemson is 4-4 with wins over Charleston southern, FAU, Syracuse, and a bad wake team by 5
UNC is 6-2 with wins against 2-6 South Carolina team, 6 point win over a 4-4 app st team, and loses to 4-4 Georgia tech team and a 2-6 Virginia team.
Virginia tech with loses to a Purdue team at home that we beat at Purdue, 19 point loss to Rutgers, loss to Marshall.
3 games that were all blowouts. Take away the names of these “Programs” and these are all average to below average teams. And we were not competent or competitive in any of them. I’m not even delusional to think we should have won all of them. But to not even have a chance in any of those games is disheartening and disappointing.
I don’t care how the rest of the season plays out. This is unacceptable in year 8 of a program. As hard as people want to chalk this stretch up to bad scheduling, it’s not like we played 4 powerhouses in row.
