A Pitt / SU matchup is always a slugfest regardless of how good either side is. I would not read much into only beating them by 8. They were trying to turn their season around by beating the undefeated #1 team in the country and they played hard.

Give me a break. We all know that Pitt has our number, and this team just gave marquette everything that they could handle last game at their place. Despite that, despite rebounding poorly, etc. we still beat them by close to double digits.

People act like if we don't beat teams by 20+ points, running them out of the gym en route to playing mistake free ball with dozens of highlight reel plays that something is "wrong" and we're playing poorly.

No doubt, road games at ND / Cinci, WV at home, etc. will all be tough. But let's not push the panic button.

Dont see it at the Joyce.. if it happens more than likely at Cinci.. but this game all all the makings of a letdown and it didnt happen.. its going to take a lot of talent and execution to beat us.. personally the best teams to do it will be the Ville or Uconn.. just not enough firepower in South Bend or 5/3 arena IMO.

To beat Syracuse, a team will have to play 40 minutes. Syracuse doesn't have to play a full 40 to beat anyone except a handful of teams.
