Nottingham girls basketball is back, and a former state champion and Syracuse player is the coach
Former Nottingham Bulldog and Syracuse University women's basketball player Cintia Johnson has been named the new Nottingham girls basketball coach.

The school hired Cintia Johnson, who won a state championship at Nottingham and played at Syracuse University.
Johnson scored 1,169 points during her career at Nottingham and led the team to their first Class AA state championship in 2005, her senior year.
She played at Syracuse from 2005-08. During her sophomore year with the Orange, she started all 29 games and led the team with 113 assists and 42 steals.
