Obviously I'm on Cloud Nine right now, but it just has to be said, that was a miserably officiated game. And I very rarely complain about officiating because I know it's an extremely difficult job.

Missed calls (because I'm not a meathead I'm going to list bad calls on both sides)

-Tucker got the first down, but they called it short.
-Garrett didn't get the first down, but they originally called it a first.
-Missed targeting by State player on Garrett
-Missed offsides call on State when Garrett threw the INT
-Missed block in the back call by Garrett on a Tucker run
-Our lineman was ineligible downfield on that critical 3rd and long throw
-Some really weak holding calls on both teams in the 2nd half around the edge.

I know I'm missing some.

There was at least one call that I thought was a blantant PI that went uncalled on our second offensive series. And I’m not a whine about the refs guy in anyway but f@&$ it.

I said it in the game thread but poor officiating ( not biased, mind you, just poor) is so common in the ACC. It happens every week in virtually every game…look we are all human and no game will be called perfectly but it’s absolutely a trend now…

I thought most of the holds were extremely weak and shouldn't have been called.

Overall they evened out. They would have thrown in the towel in the third quarter if they didn't get those picks at the end of the second half. They somehow stayed in the game with their QBs making maybe 3 or 4 good plays total all game kill clock and let us make the mistakes was their gameplan though.

I really wish Isaiah Jones didn't go down and we had another legit WR to pair with Gadsden. Someone needs to step up and I'm not sure if anyone in that group can.

They called a ghost hold call against NC State's o line late in second half when they were driving

They completely missed a hold against Shrader on a Tucker run

No. NC State was not offsides on that Shrader interception. It was a good no call

I gave them the thumbs down in their van after they exited the dome. They get a police escort. I went right up to window.

There were at least 3 other offensive flase starts they didn’t call and holding was seen on nc state every time they zoomed in on their line. And official had flag ready to be thrown when Garson caught td. Messed up

That was not a ghost hold call. He had a decent grab of the jersey. He also got facemask too.. could've been called for hands to the face if not the hold. The holding call on Syracuse's last TD drive was far more of a ghost hold when Shrader had that big run on 1st and 15.

There are other solid options but Gadsden seems to be Shrader’s go-to receiver.

I don't know what replay you are looking at or if we are even talking about the same play

I know exactly what one you're talking about. The one Hasselbeck kept complaining. He was definitely grabbing his jersey outside the numbers. He also had a slight grab of the facemask too.

The holding called on Syracuse's last drive was far more of a soft call like I said.

-Missed offsides call on State when Garrett threw the INT
Rewatching the highlights. Man look at all that space on the right.

If I was NC State I’d be apoplectic about the Hoeh blocking down field.
The Mang no call was a very close 5 yards beyond the line of scrimmage imo. I mean it might have been but it wasn’t obvious. I was more worried the review was going to negate the reception by saying Shrader was past the one of scrimmage when he released the ball. Even though he wasn’t.

Mangs situation wasn’t obvious. Their LT repeatedly jumping was. But Hasselpuff didn’t seem to have a problem with that.

I don't understand how that wasn't beyond the line of scrimmage, but CD-RW's earlier this season was.

Thank you for frequenting the NC State forum.

Im teasing, obviously. It’s kinda nice to get tobacco row calls.

The officials were dogshit. The robbed is pf two 15 yarders, a first down, and a free play that ended up in a pick first half.
