That's what happens when you let a strong shooting team slow down the pace.
We need to pressure the ball more and Cooney has to be more of a threat, because right now we're playing without a shooting guard. I love the kid but no more excuses about being shadowed the whole game. He needs to learn to shoot off the bounce and get more comfortable shooting deeper threes. We also need to figure out how to get some inside-out passes to the guy. It's not easy shooting threes when all of your momentum is always going towards halfcourt when you get the pass.
That's all. I'm surprisingly not that upset about this loss. The team put out a poor effort by our standards but it is what it is. I'm looking forward to the Duke game.
