after resisting it all season, I am choosing now, the low point of the season, to go "all in," as you say. I am betting that this really fires up the team and the coach and we are about to witness a run even more inspiring than the magical season we just experienced.

That's it then. Now that Moqui's all in, there's just one thing left to do...

just win the whole *ckin' thing.

I knew you had potential!

The season long doubter comes around at our lowest point. If the team can't rally around that then whats the use.

all we need now is poppy to get on board and theres no stopping this train!

Though none of us like what is happening with Melo, I have been hoping for a shake-up to motivate our boys; I hope this is it. The recent problems with the team's play have been well-discussed on the board (Scoop & KJo's disappearance, etc.), so I won't waste our time rehashing that. It's time. I've been on the bandwagon since day 1, but I'm tying cement blocks to my feet and bolting them on now. I want to see our boys shine. They've endured high expectations, a difficult stretch of games to end the regular season, "scandals", and what appears to be some disillusionment as well.

I haven't changed one of my brackets since the news broke, and I expect to be rewarded in a few weeks.

Surprised. You are generally so coldly analytical.

Without Melo, the zone becomes much more ordinary.

Eventually, we will play someone who is going to eat us up inside.

In order to win games, we are going to have to pay much better offensively than we have been. We are going to have to shoot well in every game as we are not going to have the luxury of knowing that we can get stops on the defensive end.

Can it happen? Sure. Every year there is a team that goes on an offensive tear and hits everything they put up.

I figure that, if we had played the entire season ex Melo or with freshman Melo, we would have been entering this tournament in 6 seed territory. Can a 6 seed go to the final four? Sure. Is it likely? No.

Start rooting for upsets in the East.

My reason for optimism.....

Everyone thinks someone will eventually eat us up inside. We beat UCONN in the Big East Tourney with Christmas outplaying Fab against one of the biggest, most talented frontlines in the country. If Scoop/KJo/Triche at least play respectable and Christmas gives us a good rebounding effort WE WILL BE IN THE FINAL 4.

Sorry guys (not like it matters) but I'm not feeling a final four run. I am not sure Rak can put up 3 solid games in a row (even assuming we can get past Asheville pretty easily). Would love to be proven wrong.

"You know what, Joel? Sometimes you just have to say 'what the .'"

there is no analytical reason for my change of heart, not even a "gut feeling." it's a wing and a prayer because I am so pissed off at those who are using this as an excuse to dump all over the coach and the program. I can't give you a good reason why I think it will happen (other than the reasonably favorable draw), I just want it to happen so all those clowns calling for JB's head have to twist in the wind.

Tell me the truth, you were trolling for likes. ;)

In all seriousness, amen to your sentiments.
