Four Hofstra basketball players were arrested on burglary charges stemming from their part in six campus dorm rooms being broken into, and according to the NY Post the lot included Hofstra’s basketball coach’s property. The arrested players were listed as Kentrell Washington, 18, of Las Vegas; Jimmy Hall, 18, of Brooklyn; Dallas Anglin, 18, of Montclair, N.J.; and Shaquille Stokes, 20, of Manhattan.

Yikes, not only does the UCONN death-spiral manage to tear down UCONN but somehow they managed to contaminate another program all the way across the LI Sound...

"These incidents took place in Hofstra dormitories, and included the theft of laptop computers, cell phones and cash."

"This is a very disappointing situation," said Hathaway, who took over as athletic director in May, after filling the same role at UConn for eight years.

Those two players also have checkered pasts, prior to their arrivals at Hofstra. Coombs-McDaniel, who transferred from UConn, was arrested back in April 2011 and charged with marijuana possession.
