I figured this would be a good thread to keep track of our OOC wins; and based on this we can easily say our SOS is #2 in the country right now.

As of 1/17
Marshall (4-0); 1st in CUSA
Bucknell (3-0); 1st in Patriot League
Florida (2-1); tied 2nd in SEC
Stanford (5-1); tied 1st in PAC12
Va Tech (0-3); last in ACC
NC State (2-1); tied 2nd in ACC
Manhattan (5-2); tied 2nd in MAAC
Fordham (0-3); tied last in A-10
G.Washington (1-2); tied 4th in A-10
Albany (4-2); 3rd in America East
Eastern Michigan (2-1); tied 1st in Mid-American West
Tulane (0-3); tied last in CUSA
Colgate (0-3); tied last in Patriot League

So of our 13 non-conference opponents 7 of them are currently in 1st or 2nd. And we've got to think as of now Marshall, Bucknell, Florida, Manhattan and Stanford all have legit shots to win their conference. Not too shabby.

I'm surprised Manhattan is doing so well. I remember thinking they were absolutely terrible when we played them. Maybe I just didnt know how good Syracuse was.

But we don't have an offensive dude!

VaTech starting to regress. I'm sure they will find some way to go 8-8 in the ACC (with probably 1 big win over UNC or Duke) and we will get to see Seth Greenburg whine about why his team should get into the NCAA tourney, again...only to be denied, again.

This is why we have the #2 SOS in the country. Screw the haters, JB knows what he is doing.

I actually hope this happens, because it's becoming a yearly tradition for me to sit down on selection Sunday and watch as Seth Greenburgh seeks out any and all T.V. outlets who will listen so he can tell us all just how good they are and how good the ACC is, and how they are deserving of selection because they beat Dook or UNC. Only to find out they just missed out, and we get to watch it all over again the next day.

Personlly I'd rather play ranked teams (i.e. real competition) than talk about how Bucknell might win the Patriot League. But hey! #1 sos! yay!

Thanks for pulling this together. This is why our SOS is so good. We tend to pick good OOCs who could win their conference and make the tournament, and we avoid the real tomato can teams that are above 200.
