OT- ESPN Page 2 closing its doors

I loved the old Page2, like the 2003, 2004 page2. All the early Simmons' posts. All the changes over the last year or so (I hate the way its set up now) and Grandland kind of turned me off it.

If your ever board, check out the archives of anything Simmons wrote from 2004 on. Funny as hell.

Grantland has basically become their new version of Page 2 anyway. As soon as Simmons left Page 2 to pursue his own endeavor, you had to know the site's dates were numbered.

It's named after famous sportswriter Grantland Rice. And FWIW, Simmons is on record as saying he hates the name but ESPN insisted.

I followed Grantland for about 3 minutes. Not a fan. No real reason why. Just dont like it
