Not sure how many of you made your championship games this year but I was fortunate enough to make the championship game in two of them.

That being said I am the underdog in both games this week so I am looking to try and make some bold moves. One of my leagues is a 2 QB league where I unfortunately have Aaron Rodgers. This year alone in that league I have lost 4 QB's to injury and only one of them (Manuel) has made it back and now hes out again. I have been playing Campbell and Flynn the past few weeks but with Rodgers out I was thinking about getting someone of the waiver wire to replace Flynn. Cassel and Schaub are out there and Schaub is projected to get the most points but I dont trust him at all. Should I roll with Cassel and Campbell and hope for the best?

Who else is out there? Fitzpatrick? Cousins?

Its a two QB league so its pretty bare on the waiver wire, the only other real QB's out there besides Cassel and Schaub are Palmer, Henne, Thad thunder Lewis, and Glennon.

Someone snagged Cousins last week before I could and due to Rodgers being on my league IR I havent been able to snag another QB as EJ had some good matchups. Of course Dalton was there for a day last when someone released him, I should have grabbed him but I didnt want to cut EJ Manuel and Campbell and Flynn had to a good matchup last week to let go.

I would not start Schaub under any circumstances. Cassel has played well lately, Campbell has Gordon to throw to, Matt Flynn hasn't been playing poorly but it isn't a great matchup...

I would probably start Cassel and Campbell...

You echoed my thoughts exactly. I just dont trust Schaub at all. Its funny because im playing the same guy in my other league for the championship and he has Gordon in that league so Campbell is a bit of a double edged sword but I see no way I can sit him. Just in case that wasnt odd enough did I mention he has brees in the two Qb league and I have him in our other League, nothing like playing against yourself.

Also agree with you about Flynn, he was great last week but Pittsburgh's D is light years better then Dallas. I can't see Flynn putting up anything close to what he did last week.

Look at it this way, with Campbell: if you DON'T play him, every time Gordon gets points, you get nothing. However, in starting Campbell you get points every time Gordon does, so it kind of negates that player, plus obviously Campbell will throw to other people as well. You're, to a small extent, capitalizing on your opponent's scoring log by starting Campbell, if that makes sense.

I would suggest Palmer, but then I saw he is playing Seattle so that's a horrible idea. Glennon was decent earlier in the year but has slowed down. Definitely not Schaub.

For me it's between Flynn and Thad. Go with your gut..if it's Thad you get to root for the bills even more :)

Yup agree 100%, plus the league he has Gordon in I am a heavy underdog so it likely wont matter anyway. Really hoping to pull off the W in the two QB league, would hate to go 0-2 against the same guy but its a very real possibility especially since I lost in the championship game in one of the leagues last year as well.

Between Cassel and Schaub? I like Schaub because he is playing at home and Denver is likely going to be ahead and he will be throwing the ball more. Cassel has been solid these past weeks, but his game at Baltimore wasn't that good he threw that screen to Patterson that he took 70 yards, but playing at Cincinnati and the Bengals play well at home and are undefeated their will be pressuring Cassel and I don't trust him on the road even with Adrian Peterson back. I like Schaub because this likely his last home game with Texans as he will get cut and he will want to play decent for them since they are basically guaranteed the first pick in the draft and he could go for 275, 2TD against Denver, I don't trust Cassel to do that at Cincinnati.

If Palmer had a better matchup I would definitely go with him but like you said with it being Seattle thats a non starter. As a Bills fan I would love to roll with Thad but with the game already being blacked out and Stevie Johnson out due to his moms death, not sure I can take watching Lewis have a bad game over some internet feed. Not to go off tangent but can we please get Syracuse off of the blacklist for Bills games, christ were nearly three hours from the Stadium.

You make some good points regarding Schaub and thats probably why he is projected to score the most point of all the QB's i noted were available on the wire or already on my bench (save for Campbell). Still Schaub has been such a mess this year, just concerned hes goign to throw a bunch of picks. Cassel is on the road but Cincys secondary is a complete disaster. Still you make a good case for Schaub, definitely something to consider.

Small side note: Houston has been ahead all year and they haven't abandoned their run game.

I wouldn't be shocked if what you said does indeed occur. I also wouldn't be surprised if he throws for 200 yards with 3 picks.

I actually picked up Dennis Johnson in one of my leagues, wondering if I should start him over Andre Brown. He would be paired with CJ2K

I got 2 quick questions, I as well am in my championship game this weekend.

1. Cutler or A. Smith- Smith is a guaranteed 15-25 with some more upside depending how many screens they throw. I only worry that Cutler could aggravate his ribs or ankle and the coaches decide to shut him down because McCown is playing so well... I am currently starting Cutler by a narrow margin.

2. I have Gio Bernard, Morris, and just picked up Jordan Todman, if MJD sits would you start Todman over either of the other 2 in great matchups?? Also have Forte so he is starting.

Im playing against Cutler this week so I would have to give him the nod but your right about his injury history this year. Still to good a matchup to sit him.

I picked up Toddman to, if MJD is out (have him to), I would definitely roll with him. If not him then Morris, Dallas sucks at everything on defense.

Bernard's matchup against Minnesota is really good though... At least Todman won't be splitting carries.

True but he has the lawfirm vulturing his td's, plus that game could turn into an air raid on both sides.

Bernard got the goaline carries last week.
