Hey, not that far off-topic, there's a Boeheim connection there.

The inside story of Blue Chips

Some great quotes and anecdotes. Classic Shaq: "I didn’t know who Penny was before that movie. I was playing one day [in preproduction] and I noticed he was always on my team. I finally told somebody, “Man, I don’t know why this dude’s an actor. He can play in the league.” They was like, “He is going to play. He’s probably going top three in the draft.”

Boeheim not getting Best Supporting Actor consideration for his iconic and nasally "too many bad shots" in reference to Butch McRae remains one of the biggest Oscar snubs of all-time.

The account of the Bobby Knight - Dickie V confrontation is epic!

No kidding. I told friends the same exact thing.

I just remember when this movie came out it seemed like the greatest idea ever.

Shaq's in a movie?!?!?!? As a basketball player?!?!?!

Replacing Blue with a synonym and we have another contender for the title of a certain poster’s biography.

That's why it took such acting skill to deliver the line.

Agreed - he had zero frame of personal reference for that line.

Tark - "OK, so what's my motivation for this line?"
Director - "You have a really talented recruit, but can't take him because he's a lousy student."
Tark - "OK, so... I still don't understand..."
Director - "Your school won't admit him due to grades."
Tark - "You're losing me here..."
Director - "Just say the damn line!!!"

I mostly remember that Penny Hardaway was a really terrible actor.
