A name to keep an eye on. Stood out as Skan's starting QB as a Soph this past fall. Threw for 1775 & 14 TDs while rushing for 513 & 5 TDs.

Currently leading Section 3 in goals & putting up huge numbers after contributing on varsity as a Frosh.

Pat Hackler, Midfield/FO, Orange Crush, 2019

A standout athlete, Hackler was somewhere in the range of 65 percent of his face-offs, but was not even close to a FOGO as he then also showed himself to be a very capable dodger who created not only his own shot, but set up his teammates. He has speed and athleticism and is smooth carrying and changing direction. He has a hard shot once he gets to it. He also played great defense. Hackler already has plenty varsity lacrosse experience.

His teammate, fellow '19 middie & Cornell verbal John Danforth, is a heck of a player as well. Played varsity as an 8th grader & started as a Frosh, putting up 26 points. This write-up says he considered SU along with Penn, Brown, & Army.

One at new Hartford that Conner plays with.
I think a fully kid edigner or something like that.


Still mad we missed on Bragg from Caz. He's gonna have a hell of a career at Yale.

Sounds familiar (Ben Reeves ) '19 Luke Piroli, Nick's younger brother, put up impressive stats as a Frosh at Carthage & is off to a good start this year. Uncommitted.

I don't have any inside info, But it Wouldn't surprise me if he is headed towards Cornell. Kerwick lives in Skaneateles and is entrenched in that community. He runs a box lacrosse camp there in the summer and many kids from the town go down to Ithaca for the Cornell lax camp each summer.

Some new info. Heard SU back in the game for Hackler and Cornell is out. Looks like its SU or Yale at this point. Expect a commitment either way on 9/1 or shortly after.

Was told SU was in the drivers seat for his teammate Danforth but then backed off.

Unclear. May have decided to go in another direction or something spooked them. SU does have 3-4 middies already committed in that class including Lewandowski who is a top 10 recruit. Staff is pretty high on Rosa as well from what i heard. Expect a massive year out of him next spring.
