Not named Carmelo Anthony or Gerry, that you’d pick to lead Cuse going into the National Championship who you feel best telling “win this for us”. Who was our biggest killer instinct star?

i’m conflicted. CJ, Flynn and Dion immediately come to mind.

Here’s a few dark horse candidates:

Silent G - really upped his game Sr year, and even more so late in the season.

Tyus - could take and make tough shots as well as any Orangeman ever. Sadly, half of those seemed to be about one foot inside the 3pt line.

John Gillon - Duke win, & that absurd performance at NCST;
nobody has EVER been that NBA Jam ON FIRE! in Cuse history.
10/13 from field, 9/10 3’s 14/14 FT’s, 9 assists.

This is not about a possession or a swing.

We do not have the depth of talent the opposing team has.

We have a cuse team that plays well together and need a leader to take the game over from start to finish

Lydon was so nice when he was on. Wish he had stayed and improved one more year. But I’d go with Ennis.

Are we playing against Malcolm brogdon?

malachi

It's too early to answer this question lol so many options! I'll go by position

PG - Ennis
SG - Dion
SF - Wes
PF - Warrick
C - Arinze

give me MCW and Rautins off the bench. That group would never lose a game if they all played together

Find it interesting that so many prefer Ennis over MCW. MCW may not have been as efficient a scorer, but was one of the most dominant defending/facilitating college pg’s I’ve ever seen. Still remember his heroics against Louisville
