Sounds like hes guessing considering hes making it sound like Fab's absence from games is an indicator of not becoming eligible, when people in the know have maintained the same timetable of his possible return throughout.

Just based on that statement alone, it sounds like he's talking about his OWN confidence level being 50/50--not that these percentages correlate to the appeal process or the likelihood that Fab will be reinstated.

I can't believe Bud has any real inside info. here, but rather speaking from a pure speculation standpoint. For that matter, I can't imagine SU giving anything to the PS other than after the fact, info., etc., especially with the way they handled the Bernie story, not to mention the "Out of Bounds" expose than ran back in the early 90's.

Bud has not been able to develop sources in the 30 or so years he has been here. Nice enough guy but he has no idea what he is talking about when it comes to SU athletics. I am impressed he knows who Melo is. Someone must be focusing him on things more than normal.
