No.

1. The level of recruit JB is getting is relatively consistent to what he was getting earlier. P took a downturn.
2. The system JB runs is no more or less relevant in the game today than it was 10 years ago. P's system was heavily outdated and he refused to adapt.
3. JB's overall record has had ebbs and flows, but overall, every decade he has periods where his teams are dominant, and then 3 or 4 year stretches where they are only so so. PP's last few years were by far his worst.
