All the teams that play tomorrow will have a press conference today. Does anyone know what time SU and JB are on? With a lot of national reporters there, they are less likely to let the Melo story go and will hound him about it. Some of the responses could be classic.

Syracuse athletes are scheduled to speak at 1:35 p.m. and Coach Jim Boeheim is scheduled to speak at 1:50 p.m.​

JB isn't the guy to be addressing the Melo situation.

On the other hand SOMEBODY responsible needs to. In lieu of a clear statement from SU all kinds of crap is floating around in the press, on internet forums and elsewhere. You don't need to get into specifics but you can say this is an academic issue (or whatever) and that it was the university (not the NCAA) that determined that Melo was ineligible due to a violation of their rules (not NCAA infractions!). If SU was merely being proactive and doing what a reputable academic institution should do, which I believe was the case, then it needs to trumpet that fact. Right now there is a vacuum and every a--hole in creation is scrambling to pile on Syracuse University.
