Program tiers

UCLA is no longer Tier 1.
You need to be relevant historically, consistently, AND currently.

As was said, if Indiana is now Tier 2, then so is UCLA.

Conversely - Cincinnati?? LOLWUT??
I don’t think Arkansas or Florida (or Georgetown anymore) rate Tier 2 either.

This list is a lot more lenient than I would be for that 2nd tier - I’d cap it at like 8-10 teams or so, and the remainder slide down to Tier 3.

Quick Reaction
Most would go up or down just one level

Cornell

Everyone else.
Princeton probably needs to be in there.
But I digress...back to basketball.

The basketball tiers are interesting.
Historically, Indiana should be a blue blood.
Louisville may be borderline.

But Arkansas is not a great program.
Neither is Cincinnati...unless you want to just fixate on the Oscar Robertson era.

And I thought that "G" stood for Georgia.
Because G-town belongs in Tier 8.
I LOOOOOAAAAATHE G-town!

As for Syracuse greatness: 51 seasons without a losing record.
Case closed.
