All four teams playing today have excellent, probably Hall of Fame quarterbacks. I decided to compare their numbers. I've combined the regular season and playoff numbers.

Aaron Rodgers has played 18 games and completed 454 of 693 passes for 5,145 yards and 46 touchdowns with 8 interceptions. That's a 65.5% completion percentage with 11.3 yards per completion, 7.4 per attempt. One in 15 attempts resulted in a touchdown, as did one in 10 completions. One in 87 pass attempts was intercepted. Per game he's averaged 25 of 38.5 for 286 yards 3 TDs and 0 interceptions.

Matt Ryan has played 17 games and completed 399 of 571 passes for 5,282 yards and 41 touchdowns with 7 interceptions. That's a 69.8% completion percentage with 13.2 yards per completion, 8.7 per attempt. One in 14 attempts resulted in a touchdown, as did one in 10 completions. One in 82 pass attempts was intercepted. Per game he's averaged 23 of 34 for 311 yards 2 TDs and 0 interceptions.

Tom Brady has played 13 games and completed 309 of 470 passes for 3,841 yards and 30 touchdowns with 4 interceptions. That's a 65.7% completion percentage with 12.4 yards per completion, 8.2 per attempt. One in 16 attempts resulted in a touchdown, as did one in 10 completions. One in 117.5 pass attempts was intercepted. Per game he's averaged 24 of 36 for 295 yards 2 TDs and 0 interceptions.

Ben Roethlisberger has played 16 games and completed 361 of 558 passes for 4,240 yards and 31 touchdowns with 16 interceptions. That's a 64.7% completion percentage with 11.7 yards per completion, 7.6 per attempt. One in 18 attempts resulted in a touchdown, as did one in 12 completions. On in 35 pass attempts was intercepted. Per game he's averaged 23 of 35 for 265 yards 2 TDs and 1 interception.

Big Ben's numbers are easily the worst but were MVP numbers not so long ago. (That's basically a Bret Favre season). I'd say Ryan's numbers are the best but he had the best and healthiest corps of receivers. They also ahd the best running game. But, of course those facts can help Ryan win the games he has to win to get his first Super Bowl. The other guys have won 7 of them. maybe it's Matt turn?
