Guessing the move to a dual threat based offense helped to drive this. I would expect a dual threat QB transfer to arrive by fall and fill this opening.

Plenty of solid programs in Texas that will want him. So many besides the P5 schools too. SMU, UTEP, Rice, UTSA, North Texas etc.

Listening to some CFB radio stuff a few weeks ago,, Pretty much the feeling its gonna be hard for any team to to keep a 2 deep on the roster at QB now.. You either have to be an elite school where kids think they need 1 yr of playing to go pro or the #2 is gonna jump because they think they can beat out a #1 someplace else with a clean slate.

They used to say down 29 was nearly impossible to overcome that changed with the 2 point conversion so if your team is down 30 in the second half and you are #2 QB and don’t get in the game!!!
