When was the last time we trailed in a game (aside from 2-0)? Stanford?

Last time we trailed in second half was stanford

When was the last time we trailed in a game (aside from 2-0)? Stanford?

we were DEFINITELY down at NC State before going on that huge run.

Were down 23-15 with 10:40 to go in 1st half, but ended the half on a 32-10 run to lead 47-33 at the break.

I asked earlier what has been our largest deficit all year, but no one knew. I don't think we've down by more than 10 at all this year.

Yeah, the % of the game where we have the lead has to be like 95% or so on the season.

the entire first half of the first Providence game was back-and-forth.

They led at various points with scores of: 8-5, 14-9, 16-13, 22-19, and 34-33.

Though in the 2nd half, Cuse ran away with it.

According to SUAthletics.com:

The largest deficit SU faced this season was -8 (vs. Stanford and NC State).

SU was -7 vs. Va Tech and -5 four times this season.

The 8 point hole vs. Stanford came in the 2nd half. Every other deficit came in the 1st half.

There were six games in which SU never trailed:
Marshall, GWU, SHU, Marquette, Providence (Dome) and Pitt.

SU’s biggest run was 23-0 at NC State. SU also had the following runs over the season:

19-0 twice
15-0 twice
14-0
13-0
11-0
10-0

In Big East play so far, (7-0) SU has trailed by a total of 11 points.

Mine was a poorly worded question...this is what i was trying to figure out.

These are insane stats. This basically shows we have controlled play at all times. There have been no desperation situations. Recently we've run out to early leads then kept opponents at arms-length, so while we're nervous in the stands watching a lead shrink, we've never lost that lead and eventually had a mini-run to seal the games away.

This is incorrect. We were down 9 to NC State at 13-4.

I decided to look back at the play-by-plays. VaTech held the lead longest (about 28 minutes), we were down by as much as 5 in the 2nd half, taking the lead for good with 12 mins left in the 2nd. Against Stanford, the only team we've been down against both at a meaningful time of the game and by significant score (i.e. more than 3 points), it was 58-51 with 4:51 left (we took the lead for good with 61-60 with 2:56 left). We were down 24-22 at Providence with 7:39 left in the 1st. Florida was up 49-46 with 9:20 left in the 2nd. Vs NC State we were down 29-27 with 6:31 left in the 1st and were tied at 54 with about 13 mins left in the 2nd. We've really only trailed once in the 2nd half when it's been close to crunch time. Looking at our games without really factoring in early parts of games in which the game didn't end up a blow out, we've only trailed for about 83 minutes of the 800 we've played. I am no math wiz, but even I can tell that's basically being in the lead for nearly 90% of the game.

One could certainly argue that we've only played a couple of games that you might feel like it was reasonable to be trailing. This argument would mean more to me if we weren't winning these games with relative ease. To be able to be as consistent as we've been and refusing to play down to the competition the way we typically seem to, I still think it's very impressive even if our schedule has been more favorable to this point than one would have thought. I think the next few games will tell us a lot.

Am I wrong; I feel like they hit a long jumper that was originally counted as a 3 but they changed it to a 2.
